Metal Spoon Flower Indoor Gardening Picture

This unique hand made picture is an ideal gift for anyone who has a love of indoor gardening or has a garden room. They are ideal for wall mounting and bring a splash of floral colour, particularly during the winter months.

The picture depicts 3 flowers, the petals have been created using metal teaspoons and all 3 flowers have a solid metal sphere as a centre. We have used the teaspoon handles for foliage at the bottom of the picture and metal rods for the stalks. The flowers have been finished with 2 coats of good quality metal acrylic paint with a base of purple with subtle over spraying of pale pink, particularly at the tips of the petals. The flowers have also been given an additional coat of clear lacquer.

We have used a solid wooden base for the picture and fitted it with a rope handle, further adding to it’s rustic design and making it easy to hang. The base board has been finished with 2 coats of matt black water based paint with a subtle over spray of white sitting underneath the floral sprig to give the picture depth.

The picture is ideal for display in an indoor garden or garden room, it has been made with the intention of being displayed indoors and measures approximately 38cm long x 16cm wide. Depending on where you choose to display it, the picture may develop patina on both the flowers and the base, further adding to it’s character.

Due to the components used to create this picture, it is not suitable for children or display in a children’s play area.
